When the friend visits the tomb of the son of Daoud
The shrine of Ibn Dawud, whenever a loving pilgrim visits it,
Joy appears to him and adversity retreats
Joys manifest to him, and sorrow is vanquished,
And the troubler of wishes recites to him from his soul
And the awakener of hopes recites to him from within his soul:
You have attained what you hope for, and fortune has assisted you
"You have attained what you hope for, and good fortune has aided you."
