When we attain what we desire
When we attain that which we desire
Of the very essence of our quest,
Of the Ultimate Purpose and Essence itself,
We spurn all other vain desires
We forget all else that the soul might crave
Of attributes and pleasures.
Of fleeting illusions and worldly pleasures,
And we regard misery and sorrow
And we find sweetness in hardship and the
As naught, compared to joyful days.
Toil, when placed beside such exalted states.
