    تشفي حزاراتِ القلوبِ الهيمِ

    A breeze of coolness

    Relieves heated hearts burdened with cares

  2. إذا غدتْ في الشارقِ المُغيمِ

    ألوت عن المهمومِ بالهمومِ

    When it comes from an overcast east

    It makes the careworn forget his worries

  3. ونفَّستْه نفسَ المهمومِ

    مشَّاءة في الليل بالنميمِ

    And gives him the breath of the troubled one

    Strolling at night with whispers

  4. بين نشيرِ الروضِ والخيشومِ

    كأنها من جنةِ النعيمِ

    Between the chirp of garden and nose

    As if it were from the Garden of Bliss
