ويغفر للهافين غيرَ مُقصِّرٍ

ولا جاهلٍ ما قد أتوا حين يغفرُ

Forgive those who err, not negligent

Nor ignorant when forgiveness comes

ولكنْ يثيب المحسنين مَثوبةً

ينافسهم فيها المسيءُ فيُقصِرُ

But reward the virtuous with bounty

Which the sinner envies, and falls short
