هَبُوا أبا يوسفٍ هجاني

ولابنِ بورانَ وجهُ عذرٍ

لأنه مُطرِبٌ مُصيبُ

مثلهما هاهَ أو قريبُ

And Khalid, well he is a beggar

ورَّاقُ ساباطَ لِم هجاني

عُثنونُهُ في استه خضيبُ
