يا أيها السائلي لأُخبرَهُ

عنّيَ لِمْ لا أزال مُعتجِرا

O questioner—so that I may tell him

about myself why I remain turbaned:

أستر شيئاً لو كان يمكنني

تعريفه السائلين ما سُترا

I conceal a certain thing which, if I could

make known to the questioners, would not be concealed.
