The horns of Abu Yusuf have risen high,
Exalted and glorious are they!
O Abu Yusuf, how arrogant they are,
Lowering their gaze at me in the arena.
When its devil drives them towards me,
I flip my spear at its devil.
I spy on its heart with my sword,
And shake its pillars with the spearhead.
I infiltrate the place of its loyalty,
Then find its disbelief there.
It's as if I was sent into its hidden thoughts,
To uncover its faith.
It's for the likes of your horns, O Kisrawi,
That the Persians built their halls.
