وللشباب حِبالاتٌ يصيد بها

وغُرّةٌ يدّريها كلُّ مُصْطادِ

The youth has ropes with which he fishes

And a lure which he maneuvers for every catch

يُصْبِي بصبوته المصْبى بروْنَقِهِ

كلا جنيبيه منقادٌ لمنقادِ

He intoxicates with his voice the one intoxicated by his grace

Each of his sides obedient to the other's lead
