هاجرْتُ عنك إلى الرجا

لِ فكان عُرْفُهُمُ كنُكرِكْ

I migrated from you to the Bedouins

So their familiarity was like your estrangement

فرجَعَتُ مِنْ كَثَبٍ إلي

كَ مُفرِّغاً نفسي لشُكرِكْ

So I returned from a jump to you

Like one unburdening myself to thank you

ولما أرُومُ بما أقو

لُ زيادةً في رفع ذِكركْ

And when I intend with what I say

To add to raising your mention

لكِنَّهُ حقٌّ أوَّف

فيهِ عوانَكَ بعْدَ بِكْرِكْ

But it is true that I obliged

In it your help after your early morning

كم نعمةٍ لك ملء فِكْ

رِي لا تُلاحِظها بفِكْرِكْ

How many blessings from you filled my thoughts

That you don't notice with your thinking
