مُدْرِكٌ عاينَ أمَّهْ

وهْيَ تَسْتَدخِلُ ثمَّهْ

A young man caught sight of his mother

As she was inserting a suppository

قال ما هذا فقالتْ

في حرِي بعضُ المرمَّهْ

He asked, "What is this?" She replied

"It's to relieve some pressure in my bottom"

فتولَّى وهْو مهمو

مٌ أطالَ الله همَّهْ

So he turned away, troubled

May God prolong his worries

يشتهي ما تَشتهيهِ

يشتهي الأيرَ مشمَّهْ

He desires what she desires

He craves the same suppository

رجُلٌ يستدخِل الصَّلْ

عة أو تلقاهُ جُمَّهْ

A man who inserts a suppository

During prayer or while fasting

ثم لا يُخرِجُها المسْ

تُوهُ إلا ذات كُمَّهْ

Yet doesn't remove it, the fool

Until the optimal time

ناقهٌ أبصرَ لحماً

فاشتهاهُ حين شمَّهْ

A camel that spied meat

And craved it once he smelled it

ورأى الأير فأعما

هُ هَواهُ وأصمَّهْ

But saw the suppository and his desire

Was silenced, his senses numbed

فهو يستدعيهِ جهلاً

بالذي يدعو المذمَّهْ

Yet still he foolishly calls for it

Inviting what should be condemned

من تبدٍّ وتَنزٍّ

وشُرورٍ فيه جَمَّهْ

Of sacrilege and impiety

And abundant disgrace

قُلْ له عني لقد أصْ

بحتَ في جهلكَ أُمَّهْ

Tell him, from me, you have indeed

Through your ignorance become a mother

لا يكن أمركَ يا هَ

ذا على قلبكَ غُمَّهْ

Do not let this be your way, o man

A heavy burden upon your heart

صانعِ الأيرَ لِتُؤْتَى

إن في ظهرك حمَّهْ

The maker of suppositories must be sought

If you have swelling in your back
