  1. فلو شَهِدْت مُقامي ثم أنديتي

    يوم الخصام وماءُ الموت يطَّردُ

    Had you witnessed my status, and then called me

    On the day of dispute, and death's water gushed

  2. في فتيةٍ لم يلاق الناس إذ وجدوا

    لهم شبيهاً ولا يلقون إن فُقدوا

    Among youths, whom people never met the like of,

    Nor will meet if they're lost, their similitude

  3. مجاورو الفضل أفلاك العلا سُبُل ال

    تقوى محل الهدى عمد النهى الوُطُدُ

    Neighbors of nobility, spheres of highness

    Ways of piety, place of guidance, pillar of firm interdiction

  4. كأنهم في صدور الناس أفئدةٌ

    تحسُّ ما أخطأوا فيها وما عَمَدُوا

    As if they are in people's chests, hearts

    That feel what they missed in them and what they aimed for

  5. يُبْدون للناس ما تُخفي ضمائرهم

    كأنهم وجدوا منها الذي وجدُوا

    They show people what their consciences conceal

    As if they found in them what they found

  6. دلوا على باطن الدنيا بظاهرها

    وعلم ما غاب عنهم بالذي شهدُوا

    They guided to the inward of life through its outward

    And knew the absent through the witnessed

  7. مطالع الحق ما من شُبهة غَسَقَتْ

    إلا ومنهم لديها كوكبٌ يَقِدُ

    Horizons of truth, no darkness dimmed

    Except from them, a star that gives light
