سأُثني بنُعماك التي لو كَفَرْتُها

لأنثت بها منها شواهدُ لا تَخْفى

I will praise Your blessings, though if I deny them,

Their traces bear witness, secrets beyond disguise.

هبِ الروضَ لا يُثْني على الغيثِ نشرُهُ

أمنظرُهُ يُخفي مآثرَهُ الحُسنى

The meadow owes no praise unto the rain's descent-

Its blooming sight cannot the rain's great works disguise.
