You have not lost joy, O son of Abu Bakr
And you have been granted health from your remedies
And may God prolong your life in glory
That grieves all your enemies
Of high status, authoritative command and prohibition
Bringing joy to all your friends
I was delighted when I was told you took a medicine
Of exquisite quality befitting your eminence
When I came to possess it independently
Not to a king but to a servant in your court
Gratitude and praise are the best things
To be gifted to peers like you
So I sent prayers and thanks, recognize
The superiority of two informants of your excellence
