رأيت أباك الخيرَ شَقَّ من اسمه

لك اسمك إذ قال القوابلُ فارسُ

وزادك حرفاً لا يراه مُميّزٌ

يخالف بين اسمَيْكُما بل يجانِسُ

And added a letter none can distinguish

That makes no difference between your twinned names

تقاربتما في اسميكما وكذا كما

تكونان في المعنى إذا قاس قائِسُ

You are alike in name, and thus ever alike
