The cheek of Abu al-Mustahil told me

Of his generosity in the world with his sanctity

And he said, by God, I have hidden the shame

Of my friend in her cleft and slit

So I said, describe it, and he said, wider than

The collar of a millstone, a roughness like its husk

And he said, shaved, so I said to him

You lied, plucked like his beard
