قالت شقائق قبره

ولرب أخرسَ ناطقُ

His grave’s anemones said,

Though a mute for God’s sake spoke:

فارتقتَهُ ولزمتُهُ

فأنا الشقيق الصادقُ

‘You surmounted him and clung to him;

So I’m the anemone sincere.’
