وسائلٍ ذاتَ يوم

علام عاداك خالدْ

Once upon a time, he had means,

فقلت جَمَّشَ أيْري

فما رآه يساعدْ

وكان ما رام سهلاً

لو كان يرضى بواحدْ

لكنَّ هَمَّ أخينا

من الهموم الأباعدْ
