Abu Suleiman, his way is not pleasing,
Neither in singing nor in teaching boys.
When he teaches the boys he terrifies them,
As if he were the mother of boys and sucklings.
And if he sings, out comes a weapon
In the form of his creation from a drunkard's weapon.
When he responds to the tambourine celebrating,
He has a voice in Egypt and a beat in Khorasan.
The howling of a dog on the strings of a mandolin
In the ugliness of a monkey and the arrogance of Haman.
And the eye assumes his jaws when they differ
In melody, the jaws of a donkey driver.
Note his defeats and laugh stealthily,
For it is a lesson, it has no second.
And the filthiest of people in teeth, the most foul,
And most similar in morals to human.
Senseless, arrogant in transmitting,
In his sleeve always traces of pomegranate.
And the almond did not part with it, the swelling of pox,
So its description with him when drinking is the youth.
Transmitting and transmitting to a growth he has and harm,
As if he were from it in the shop of a fishmonger.
And if we asked his son what did he bring you
Your father said, the repetition of deprivation.
Alas, alas! There is no coveter ever
In the provisions of Zu'man except the belly of Zu'man.
And I strike the people in a tribe with calamities,
Misfortune and most from Amr bin Duhman.
And if he saw a snake twisting in the riding animal
He fell upon it with the staff of Moses bin Imran.
No, but with the club of an inconsistent inconsistent one,
The loquacity of every dragon and snake.
I saw him bowing to the idol, praying,
So I said, you have increased disbelief after faith.
He said, angels have bowed down before me
To those other than God, the claim of evident proof.
I said, that is the greatest of all creation
Your father Adam, are these two alike?
He said, Adam is a human being and even if
His intimacy has been great, the idol is also part of a human being.
The Book has forbidden idols, we worship them
And what are idols when they stood with idols?
Nothing came in the idol forbidding its worship
Neither in scripture nor in the revelation of the Criterion.
So blame the one who prayed to an idol
And prevent blaming the one who prayed to mice.
Oh my keen soul and the keenness of all people
For Solomon, the disgracer of every devil.
If he were alive, the jinn would have seized his power
And they would not have rebelled against him after submission.
Abu Suleiman is a devil and his nickname
Abu Suleiman gives safety from Solomon.
I told him the idol's head is paralyzed,
He said no, but the head of the Khagan.
If God afflicts me after the benefactors with it
Then how afflicted was I with good after the garden.
