تُذَكَّرُ بِي فَتُرجيني

فتنساني مدى حِقَبِ

فأُذكِرُ تارةً أخرى

بنفسي غيرَ مُتَّئبِ

So I remind myself again

With no sadness

فتأمُرُ أنْ يذكِّر بي

جليساً منكَ في تعبِ

Then you order someone with you

To remind me while you’re busy

فيذكُرني فترجيني

كأوَّل وَهْلةِ الطَّلبِ

So he reminds me and you wish for me

Like at the first moment of request

فأحسبُ أنّ حظي منـ

ـكَ دهري أن تُذكَّر بي

So I reckon that my share of you

Is that you are reminded of me forever
