1. عجباً لمن يلقى الحرو

    ب فلا يُقاتل أو يُناجدْ

    How strange is he who meets wars, yet does not fight or resist,

    Especially one who believes that if he dies, he will return,

  2. لا سِيَّما من كان يو

    قن أنه إن مات عائدْ

    Fearing and dreading the lowering of flags, as snipers lie in wait for him,

    If he says the soul is one, then death is also one.

  3. خوفاً وإشفاقاً وإر

    صادُ الحتوفِ له رَواصدْ

  4. إن قال إن النفس وا

    حدةٌ فإنَّ الموتَ واحدْ
