My gratitude and hatred alike endure,
Good and evil both have a place with me.
So see what you reap when you sow your seed,
For my nature is just the same as my creed.
Like the earth whatever is sown in its stead
It faithfully yields as was destined to be.
How can we swerve from the clay we were kneaded,
What's sown cannot sprout but rather impede it.
For friend and for foe alike I will keep,
All the love and the hate they entrusted me,
And whatever they came with of harm or true heed,
Better a pool than rain channels of Nejd,
I'll keep it for water on days parched of need,
Be it pure or murky or evil indeed.
What more can be said after all I concede!
