يا آل وهبٍ شهدتْ ضرطَةٌ

سارتْ بها الأمثالُ في وَهْبِ

O family of Wahb, a fart has testified

Proverbs have spread about it in Wahb

بأنها من فَقْحةٍ رِخْوةٍ

وأنها من مَضْرَط رَحْبِ

That it is from soft, vulgar gas

And that it is from a wide fart

قد كنتُمُ من قبلِ إرسالها

أُحدوثةً في الشرقِ والغربِ

You had sent her before

As a new thing in East and West

فالآن حقّاً أُطلِقتْ فيكُمُ

بكلّ ثَلْبٍ ألسُنُ الثَّلْبِ

Now indeed she is unleashed among you

With every poke, the tongues of poke

لو كنتُمُ تُعفونَ أستاهَكم

ما بِتُّمُ منها على عَتْبِ

If you were to forgive your master

You would not complain about him

لكنكم تَحشُونها دهرَكُم

فكلكمُ مُتَّسع الثُّقبِ

But you stuff her in your lifetime

So all of you have a wide hole
