O son of war, you clothed me in a garment
That flutters in the winds of sin.
A garment - when I breathe in it -
Cries out, complaining of the east wind and the south wind.
And the winds blow in the land of others,
So they blow the dust storms in it with gusts.
One of its sides sings a voice,
While the other tears its pockets over it.
So if I reproach it, it says, "Wait!
The generous will only be gentle."
My intimacy with it was long, so it destroyed my earnings.
O son of war, you left me plundered.
