قد كان من رأب الصدوع التي

ذكرت قتل الأحول الفاسقِ

The cracks of discord that

Mentioned the killing of the transgressor Al-Ahwal

مع انحطاط السعر ثم الذي

تلاهما من مهلك المارقِ

Along with the decline in price followed by

The destruction of the heretic

وانفتق الجو بريح غدت

رَوحاً بمنِّ الفاتق الراتق

The sky broke open with a wind that became

A soothing spirit from the decisive conqueror

وانقلب المصطافُ في شهرنا

مرتبَعاً من جودك الدافق

And our beach turned in this month

Into a square from your flowing generosity

ومن ندى كفيك جاد الشرى

شؤبوب ذاك الراعد البارق

And from the dew of your palm the people bought

The downpour of that thunderstorm

وكل ما كنت تفاءلتُه

فوافقَ الحقَّ بلا عائقِ

Everything I was optimistic about

Aligned with the truth without resistance

حق أتاح الله لي قوله

وقد يتاح الصدق للناطق

The truth God granted me to say

And honesty can be granted to the speaker

وما لقينا لك من مادح

إلا مُلَقَّى منطق صادق

We have not found for you any praiser

Except an utterer of sincere speech
