Oh how I wish my poetry could reach you, my deprivation

Who can scheme when floods collide?

It's all the same to me on that day you deceived me

Or are you lost where two seas clash?

And I'm certain, with certainty like belief

That I and you were once companions

We all want deliverance by which we'd be saved

From what surrounds us of storms

And I say, when every swimmer dies

The drowned forgets the thirst of the parched
