هذا زمانٌ عليهِ
حقّاً يُناحُ ويوسَفْ
This is an era over which
It is right to moan and lament
فالثغْرُ قد عاد مِصْراً
ويوسُفُ المَلْكُ يوسُفْ
For the mouth has turned into Egypt
And Joseph the king is Joseph
هذا زمانٌ عليهِ
