مثَلٌ سائرٌ لجارحتَيْ أحْ

مَدَ مأثورُهُ عن الحُكَمَاءِ

A well-known example of my two ankles is

Its renown among the sages has spread

أنفُه في السماءِ من شدّةِ العُجْ

ب والأُبْنةِ في الماءِ

Its nose is in the sky from extreme haughtiness

And its heel is in the water
