  1. عودي على اسمِ اللهِ عودي

    لمحمّدٍ وأبي السعودِ

    Return in the name of Allah, return

    To Muhammad and my father Al-Saoud

  2. عودي لبدرَيْ آل قح

    طانٍ وشمسَيْ آلِ هودِ

    Return to the two full moons of the family of Qahtan

    And the two suns of the family of Hud

  3. الرافعينَ طريفَ مج

    دِهِما على أسِّ التليدِ

    Who raised the banners of their glory

    Atop the pillars of tradition

  4. والناشرينَ على عُقا

    بِ الجيشِ أجنحةَ البُنودِ

    And who spread over the army of punishment

    The wings of hawks

  5. قُطْبَيْ سماءِ المُلْكِ حي

    نَ تدورُ أفلاكُ الجنودِ

    The two poles of the kingdom's sky

    Around which the stars revolve

  6. كم أنطَقا بمنابِر ال

    هاماتِ ألسنةَ الغُمودِ

    How much they let loose from the pulpits

    Of ambitions the tongues of clouds

  7. وعلى الرماحِ ثعالِبٌ

    قد عُلِّمَتْ قَنْصَ الأسودِ

    And on the spears are lions

    Taught to hunt the black lions
