يقول مليحٌ مسلم بعد كافر

طعنتَ بايرٍ فائقٍ سيفَ دولة

طعنتَ بايرٍ فائقٍ سيفَ دولة

A handsome youth, a Muslim after having been an unbeliever, says:

“With my penis I thrust, outdoing Sayf al-Dawla:

فعاداتُ سيف الدولة الطعن في العدى

فعاداتُ سيف الدولة الطعن في العدى

وعادات ذا طعنُ العدا والأحبة

وعادات ذا طعنُ العدا والأحبة

for Sayf al-Dawla’s habit is to stab the foe,

while this one’s habit is to stab foes and lovers alike.”
