جادت وكانت نزهة الهائم

My beloved world has dried up after it

Was generous and was a paradise for the wanderer

كانت مع الإير زمان الصّبا

وهكذا الدنيا مع القائم

It was, in the days of youth, a companion of the loving one

And so is the world for the living one
