Welcome—warmest welcome to you, arriving here—
yours are lofty honors and mighty benefactions.
God has brought you to Jillaq,
knowing how greatly she needed the rainclouds.
O you who give even the life-giving morning clouds to drink,
who ward off adversity and heal disease,
do not blame fate for a change of abode:
you have moved to the most delightful dwelling.
Wherever you make for a home,
that place is the whole world, and you are all humankind.
