لا تذكروا معن بن زائدة لدى

قاضي القضاة ولا لهاهُ الجائده

Do not mention Ma'n ibn Za'idah before

The judge of judges, nor praise him aloud,

كم قد رأينا من معاني فضله

جدوى يديه في معانٍ زائده

How much superior meaning have we seen from him!

Usefulness of his hands in abundant meaning.
