يا ابنَ الأئمةِ كابراً عن كابرِ

دارِكْ ببيتِ الظاهرية فاقدا

O son of imams, exalted above the exalted ones,

Your abode is in the Al-Zahiriyya, though you are absent,

لي ألفُ بيتٍ في مدائح بيتكم

فاردُد على المملوك بيتاً واحدا

I have a thousand verses in praise of your household,

So grant this slave but a single verse in return.
