1. خلفت بالقلب بيتاً منك معمورا

    لقد هجرت وقلبي ليس مهجورا

    You left behind in my heart an inhabited home

    You abandoned me, yet my heart is not deserted

  2. لا تجعلنْ بيتَ قلب المستهام ولا

    بيتَ التغزُّل باللمياءِ مكسورا

    Do not make the home of the passionate heart desolate

    Nor the home of yearning with beauty demolished

  3. ليجبر الحسن لي قلباً مضى عمرٌ

    له بحسنِ ابن فضلِ الله معمورا

    May beauty heal for me a heart whose lifetime has passed

    Inhabited with the beauty of the Son of Fadlullah

  4. يا سيد البلغاء الأقدمين بلا

    خُلفٍ وأبدع تحبيراً وتحريرا

    O master of the eloquent ancients without

    Any successor, most excellent in composition and prose

  5. دستور كتاب مولانا بمصر طوى

    عني وأعمدهُ بالشامِ منشورا

    The constitution of the book of our Master in Egypt folded

    Its pillars proclaimed in Damascus

  6. فإن رسمت بمصر أو دمشق حمى

    فأعطِ عبدَكَ في الحالين دستورا

    So if you reside in Egypt or Damascus both

    Give your servant in either case a constitution

  7. سترت بالشامِ تقصيرِي وتسترهُ

    بمصرَ لا زلتَ تولي الجود مستورا

    You concealed my shortcoming in Damascus and concealed it

    In Egypt you continue to bestow generosity discreetly
