علقته ساجي اللواحظ أهيفا

وبليَّتي ساجي اللواحظ أهيف

My eyes are captivated by his charming gaze,

And my afflicted heart is in agony for his sake.

قلبي الجريح مشبَّبٌ بصفاته

في الحسنِ وهو على الجريح يذفف

My wounded heart is bandaged with his attributes,

Of beauty, as he pours out on the wounded.
