  4. وأضيفت لذا وذا جمل الأنع

    ام يتلو جزيلها الحرّ جزله

  5. من تفاصيلها القماش رياضٌ

    مزهراتٌ على الغيوث أدله

    With its fine details, it is a garden

    Blossoming from the rain's guidance

  6. فصلَّت قبلها له خلعٌ من

    زخرف الطَّرز كلّ يوم مظَله

    Elegant robes were sent to him

    Embroidered each day with a new design

  7. عوّذتها كما ترى سُوَرُ القر

    آن فضلاً يلائم الشكل شكله

    I have protected them as you see

    The chapters of the Quran grace the form.

  8. هكذا هكذا تكون تفاصي

    ل عطايا يعوذها الملك بالله

    This is how the distribution of gifts should be

    Protected by the King with the name of God

  9. سايرتها خيل العطا مسرجات

    في حلاها ومسرجات الأهله

    Accompanied by gift horses adorned

    In their splendor and the horses of the family

  10. كنسيم الصبا جنائب خطوٍ

    كلّ طرفٍ يقبِّل البرق نعله

    Like the breeze of the morning, marching hooves

    Kissing the ground at every step

  11. وبغال مثل البروج تحمل

    ن سعوداً بعينها مستقله

    And mules like constellations carrying

    Saud with their own will

  12. لا كبغل مصر إذ قلت قدماً

    فيه أو في بغال صحبي الأذله

    Not like the mules of Egypt, if I said they took a step

    In them or in the mules of my lowly companions

  13. ليَ بغل لا يعرف الأكل عندِي

    غير أنَّ المياه للشربِ سهله

    I have no mule that knows no food but me

    Except that water for drinking comes easy

  14. ليسَ في بطنه سوى الماء صرفاً

    إنَّ بغلي على الحقيقة قله

    In its belly there is only pure water

    Indeed my mule is truly bare

  15. خلّ هذا واذْكر منازلَ قصرٍ

    قاسميّ قد قسم السعد نزله

    Leave this and recall the dwellings of a palace

    In Qasimi where Saad resides

  16. بوزيرٍ فخرُ اسمه وعلاه

    مثلما كانَ أهلها كنَّ أهله

    With a minister whose name and stature are pride

    As its people were, so became its people

  17. خير دار حلَّت بها خير دارٍ

    يا سعيد الدارين يا ركن مله

    The best house settled in the best house

    O happy in both homes, pillar of the kingdom

  18. واهتمام قد شاعَ ذكراً وشكراً

    ما روت مثله التواريخ قبله

    And care has spread, mentioned and thanked

    The histories have never recounted its like before

  19. كلّ مربع سماطه كربيع

    صاح يا مربع الخصيب ووبْله

    Each square royal rug is like Spring

    Calling: O fertile square, be fruitful!

  20. ليت عيني كشاجمٍ عاينته

    فتولى فرض الصفات ونفله

    I wish my eyes were commenting on it

    To take on the duty of describing its blessings and extras

  21. وأغان ومادحون سوى العب

    د فلا نسبةٌ ولا بعض أكله

    While poets and praisers other than the servant

    Have no proportion or share of its feast

  22. يا وزيراً أقلامنا ركَّعٌ في

    مدح تجتلي محياه قبله

    O minister, our pens bow

    In praise your glory precedes

  23. يا مشيراً أشارَ خير السلاط

    ين إلى فضله فضاع فضله

    O advisor, the best sultans advised

    Of his merit which exceeded merit

  24. حبَّذا الملك والوزير دعاه

    فخره فاقْتقى تقاه وعدله

    The King and minister blessed him

    His pride fulfilled piety and justice

  25. يا ابن شكر وزير مصر كشكر

    لجوادٍ حفَّت له الناس بغله

    O son of gratitude, minister of Egypt like gratitude

    For a generous one, people saddled his mule

  26. لا ولا الفائزي فإن بعليا

    ك ولو فسح التمكّن سبله

    No, not even Al-Fayzi, though power opened his paths

    No, not even Khosba ibn Hanna like horizons

  27. لا ولا خصبة ابن حنا كأفرا

    حك بل نصله له بعد نصله

    Rather, we tie his lineage to him after his lineage

    So remain steadfast in praise, continuous in joy over me, hot-blooded, voracious

  28. فابقَ وافي الهناء متّصل السع

    د عليّ الحمى سنيّ الأكلَّه

    And congratulations for the auspicious time and most blessed state

    Soon, by the family, the new moon will shine upon you

  29. وتهنى إقبال سيدة الوق

    ت وأزكى حمى وأيمن حله

    And I would love now an ode born a day

    From Tarous in a robe after a robe

  30. بالرفا والبنين في خدر بدر

    عن قريب يجلو عليك الأهله
