يقول الإمام الفاضل ابن دريهم

عدمنا على المعلوم خلاًّ مساعدا

The virtuous imam Ibn Darayhim says,

Our lack of knowledge was a helpful void,

بديوان عشر الشام هل بالتقى أخ

فقلت ولا تلقى من العشرِ واحدا

With ten volumes on Greater Syria - will we find a brother?

I said you won't find even one out of the ten.
