من عيالٍ جور حكم

My master, a doubting call

from the children of an unjust rule

يطلبون الّلحم في العي

د وما يدرون همّي

They ask for meat on the Eid

And they know not my concerns

وأخاف العيد يأتي

وأنا قطعة لحم

And I fear the Eid will come

And I a piece of meat
