أسعد بها يا قمرِي برْزَةً

سعيدة الطَّالع والغارب

I am pleased with her, O my moon, adornment,

Happy of fate, rising and setting,

صرعت طيراً وسكنت الحشى

فما تعدَّيتَ عن الواجب
