أنت الأحق بما يقول الأول

O you well-versed in Sharia and wisdom bright

You are the most deserving of what the first said

تجب الزكاة على الذين وعدتهم

وعداً فإنهمُ بذاك تموّلوا

Alms are due from those you promised

For through that promise they were enriched
