Do your eyelids and your deeds have no past

In shedding my blood and violating my honor?

For you, O prince of beauty, is a judgment, so judge me

What are you among the people of love but a judge?

And the arrows of your glance do not miss their marks

By the truth of your beauty, they are my ruin

And my afflictions are sweet because of you, and would that I knew

Are you, O most beautiful one, angry or content?
