The white antelopes crept when we called them,
So I quickly went to meet them,
Full of life, radiant face,
Handsome like an idol.
I said, my heart longing for him,
For you my heart is a loving slave, and I am
For you O most beautiful, a slave of the most beautiful one.
Alas how abundant is boredom in you,
No sooner did your person approach than it departed,
The guide called farewell and loaded the camel.
So the separation consulted strife in me,
And my day became the day of departure.
Will my soft living return,
And my stay firmly established?
The life in the lighting is bestowed with a name,
Like the pillar of faith, the whole of intimacy.
The best of nations, son of the best
A king who bestowed favors on all people
And sufficed them stipends of afflictions
Pure of secrets, brave of publicities
He observed God and bestowed favors
So he is the distinguishing mark among us and the guardian
Generous of manners is his doctrine
And highness and generosity are his pursuit
O desires of the delegation, be content with him
The dew where guidance, where intimacy.
So be creative or be intimate or be unto me
And a girl I wish to meet
She accepts only her own stinginess
Say to her, O my messenger,
Explain to my heart with the spirits of intimacy
And promise me youth and leave longing
