    The full moon of splendor, a horizon where his stars shine forth.

  3. Lofty over the summits, ever ascending; his descending blows are feared.

    A mountain of wisdom; at his side, the public treasury is his companion.

  4. Master of hospitality; his shoulder is the hand of Time’s good fortune.

    A garden flourishing, a spring whose draughts have grown sweet.

  5. A flowing sea, ʿAlqamī-bitter—whoever sought its honey was spat out.

    Bestower of lavish gifts—Prophetic are his virtues.

  6. Earth’s treasured possession, a man of excellence whose benefactions embraced all.

    My time smote him; my fate’s calamities came wheeling upon him.
