ذو المَعَالِي البَاهِرَاتِ عَلِي

نَيّرٌ يَسمُو عَلَى زُحَلِ

Ali, the one with brilliant, lofty traits

A shining star, rising above Saturn

مَوردٌ أَشهَى مِنَ العَسَلِ

صُبح لَيلِ الحادِثِ الجَلَلِ

A spring, sweeter than honey

The dawn of the momentous event's night

ضَارِبُ الهَامَاتِ وَالقُلَلِ

زِينَةُ الأَجيَادِ والدُّوَلِ

Striking the clouds and summits

Ornament of steeds and states

أَجلٌ فِي صُورَةِ الرَّجُلِ

مَنبَعُ الآلاءِ والخَوَلِ

The most dignified in the form of a man

The source of munificence and bounty

مَورِدِ العَسَّالَةِ الذُّبُلِ

نَجلُ خَيرِ الخَلقِ والرُّسُلِ

To the languid, honeyed spring

Son of the best of creations and messengers

عَلَوِيٌّ طَاهِرُ الخُلَلِ

كَهفُ أَمنِ الخَائِفِ الوَجِلِ

A high flying Alawite, pure of defects

Shelter for the anxious and terrified refugee
