نجيُّ الهموم ونضوُ السّهر

ئقَ مثل نسيم السحر

Your generosity flowed like a stream

Between the banks of a river

جرى جودُ كفّك ما بينها

كجري الجداول بين النَّهر

Our meeting was like an ephemeral dream

With the fragrance of roses in the air

كأن لقاءك طيف الخيال

فيا قربَ وردٍ له من صدر

I pray to God to keep you safe

With a long life and an honored name

فأستودع الله منك العلى

وصوب الحيا والحسام الذكر

Your noble destiny remains secure

Above the twists and turns of fate

ولا زال قدرك سامي البنا

تصرّفُ عنهُ صروف القدر

You follow in the footsteps of your father

And walk the same path as your brother

قدمتَ قدومَ أبيك الغمام وسر

تَ مسير أخيك القمر
