And I am smitten with a moon who spurned a yearning lover,
A moon for me, repelling morning's glow,
who complained of his beloved because of the anguish of his love.
Complained of passion's heat, its fiery woe,
He took possession of him and treated him badly,
It overcame him, though he wished it no,
so he left no heart within his heart.
No heart was left him, all to love did go.
