    nor may the clouds’ hand reach you in a drought.

  2. For a lord desires our morning visit to your courtyards,

    devouring ill-gotten gains, listening avidly to lies.

  3. He is the trustworthy one: his fingertips need not be feared,

    except when white silver and gold are at stake.

  4. May his hands perish! How many, every night,

    are the Abu Lahabs that come from him, though he is counted as one!

  5. One whose soul, in its heaviness, is fashioned from Saturn,

    and whose palm is molded from the Tail’s node.
