وذي تَرَف رخيم الدَلِّ يرنو

إلى نحوي ويرمز بالسَلامِ

With a gentle breeze caressing the branches

It nods to me and gestures with peace

هصرتُ به فسالَ به التَّثني

وعادَ كما بَدَا لدن القَوامِ

I converse with it, so it converses back

And returns as it began, upright and serene
