أحبني وأنا المعدوم في ذاتي

وهو الوجود تجلّى بالخيالات

He loved me when I was naught in myself

And He is the Existence manifest in visions

لما عشقني تصورني بإثبات

فصرت فيه كشكل في المراآت

When He fell in love with me He imagined me with affirmation

So I became in Him like a shape in mirrors
