وجدت كنزاً هنا هو البركهْ

أنفق منه في مدة الحركهْ

I found a treasure here, it is the blessing

Spend from it during the movement

ينمو ويزداد ليس يحوجني

إلى اتجارٍ ولا إلى شركهْ

It grows and increases, I do not need

To trade or to partner

كان عليه من السوى رصد

فانفك عنه وزالت اللبكه

It had from fairness a deposit

So it opened from it and the shackles disappeared

وهو بقلبي توكل ورضىً

عنه وفيه الأمور محتبكه

And it is in my heart, reliance and consent

About it and in it the matters are intricate

وإنه الكنز فهو لي أبداً

يحفظني عنده من الهلكه

And it is the treasure so it is mine forever

It protects me in it from destruction

وبحره كلما غطست به

أخرج منه وفي فمي سمكه

And its sea whenever I dove in it

I come out of it and in my mouth a fish

وصنعة الكيمياء أعرفها

شكر الذي قد أدار لي فلكه

And I know the craft of alchemy

Thankful to Him who turned my celestial sphere

يزيدني كلما شكرت له

والشكر نفسي بذاك منهمكه

Increases me whenever I thanked Him

And gratitude my soul with that occupied

فالشكر لي صنعة أعيش بها

وهو طريقي يا فوز من سلكه

So gratitude is my craft I live by

And it is my path O victory whoever took it

كم نعمة لي سبيكة ظهرت

من شكر فيض الإله منسبكه

How many gifts forged appeared

From the outpouring gratitude of God intertwined

فالشكر بحر إذا مددت يدي

أصيد ما شئته بلا شبكه

So gratitude is a sea if I extended my hands

I hunt what I wanted without a net

والكيميا صنعتي وتلك هي ال

سكر وذو الحال حاله هتكه

And alchemy is my craft and that is the

Gratitude and the state of affairs is intricate

وحاصل الأمر أنني رجل

وجدت كنزاً هنا هو البركه

And the summary is that I am a man
